Jump Up – New Program for Primary School Children

Jump Up is a new award-winning symposium-inspired program being developed for children of primary school age.

We have been blessed with a fabulous co-creation event in the very full journey of developing the program. On 23 to 25 of January at Amberly on the Yarra River in Melbourne, Symposium and GenWakeUp facilitators were joined by educators and artists to share an incredible time together and plot our course for the next stage.

We reflected on the extraordinary diversity that this small group brought together in life
experience and knowledge, truly remarkable for the size of the group.

The three days fulfilled on our intentions for the program to date. As a learning organisation we are off to a great start… we have an overarching purpose and vision, we are becoming clear on our core values and how to integrate the gifts of wisdom coming our way.

We must now focus on designing the necessary policies, strategies and systems that will enable us to bring Jump Up to a trial implementation, the action research and ongoing enhancement of the materials and design of the program. It’s a big journey.

For those who shared the journey last week thank you from our hearts; we also appreciate the contributions of those who have been part of the journey to date but could not be with us last week and we look forward to future collaborations with you all.

If you would like to learn more and join us in the Jump Up Journey we’d love to hear from you.
