This On-Country Cross-Cultural Experience in the Central Desert of Australia will take place from the afternoon of Friday 30th May to the morning of Tuesday 3rd June 2014.

The purpose of the expedition is to partner with the Umpiyara Anangu Elders and Teachers, Uncle Bob Randall and Barbara Tjikatu and learn ways of knowing, doing and being to care for self, people and country the Anangu Way in the Umpiyara Homelands.

A group of us went on such trip last May and what an amazing experience that was – like nothing we ever imagined. The unconditional love present everywhere; a different way of being and thinking and seeing it in practice, learning about the culture, the history and the impact of current Australian government policies on Aboriginal communities.

The cost of $350 per person per night (total $1,400 plus getting there) includes all meals and activities: educational sessions, bush food and medicine, working with wood, dot painting, singing and dancing, as well as all camping equipment.

Due to regulations our group will prepare our food together in community.

If we get a group together quickly we will organise a group air ticket for us, so please contact Bozena ASAP.

Location: Uluru, Northern Territory

$1,400 plus getting there.
