Project Drawdown is a revolutionary way of engaging with the challenges of Climate Change.
Earlier this year Paul Hawken visited Australia to launch his new book ‘Drawdown‘ – which details the work of his research team on the ranked top 100 solutions to climate change! A number of you may have had an opportunity to hear him speak about this at a series of events around Australia.
Like many people you may be feeling overwhelmed by the constant stream of negative headlines; confused about the best way to help – or wondering if its too late anyway; guilty that you aren’t doing more ….. ??
Jane Monk, AWD Facilitator and Trainer, is excited to share an inspiring, uplifting and empowering approach to the issue that provides a sense of optimism and agency!
Reversing Global Warming: Introduction to Drawdown is a 2-hour workshop that invites participants to see both the possibility of reversing global warming and that they have an important role to play in that process. Through videos and group activities, participants learn about a comprehensive plan to reverse global warming from Project Drawdown—a scientific study that identified 100 solutions that, together, can begin to roll back global warming by 2050.
Participants will:
- Learn about a comprehensive scientific study of 100 solutions that, together, could actually begin to reverse global warming by 2050
- Connect with people in their community to find inspiration and discover new possibilities for addressing global warming
- Learn how they can change the conversation about global warming from “game over” to “game on!”

The full Project Drawdown program will be provided in a 4-week series – September 17th – October 15th, Five Session of Drawdown Solutions: Getting into Action Workshop
