Nelson Mandela asked: How can we inspire greatness when nothing less will do?

In our time of global ecological emergency greatness means doing everything required to transition from sure ecological self-destruction to a life-sustaining future. The key to success is gaining thoughtful passionate mainstream commitment.

Thinking shapes behaviour.

If we are to successfully transition to a life-sustaining society those of us who care must become skilful at raising people’s quality of thinking to a new level. Conversations that intentionally yet respectfully affect how people think are an important means to do this.

This workshop will introduce you to a unique approach to communicating about climate change and other major environmental and social issues.

We start with a physical demonstration. You will learn how to do an advanced Tai Chi push using the Feldenkrais method of teaching (fun; surprising!).

Then we will show how the principles of teaching we just used can be applied to affecting how people think. This is an innovative way of communicating that has many applications. We apply it to catalysing mindset shifts for healthy social change.

The Inspiring Transition initiative is a vehicle to take communicating to inspire mainstream commitment to transitioning to a life-sustaining future to scale. We would like to think that you care deeply about a positive future, and therefore you will want to be involved with this!
