The Symposium and the Ethical Shopping Guide

From Pradeepa Timmermans, Guide to Ethical Supermarket Shopping www.ethical.org.au

Clint and I attended the symposium when our son Neo, was 2 months old. During the section where you envisage yourself sitting and talking with your great, great grandchildren, both Clint and I felt that we were not doing what we really could to create positive change on the planet. Clint had been researching companies' backgrounds with his project partner, Nick Ray, for a few years, but their research wasn't getting out there.

Getting Into Action Workshop

The Pachamama Alliance have created an inspiring new program called ‘Getting into Action’ – a full day workshop which guides participants through a process that enables them to clarify the particular role they feel inspired to play in the bringing forth of a just, sustainable and fulfilling world. Watch out for more news about when this may be offered in your area.

Deepening Retreat 30 March to 1 April

Explore the themes of the symposium through the lens of the Work that Reconnects (a la Joanna Macy). This residential retreat will provide a space for reflection, connection and an exploration of who we are as part of the web of life on this precious planet.

The Deepening Weekend will take us through the spaces of being, knowing and doing as well as a dual stream of symposium questions and the spiral of the Work that Reconnects.
