Be The Change’s mission is to educate, inspire and enable ordinary people to take personal responsibility for our shared global future.
Be The Change supports Changing the Dream Symposiums, Symposium Leader Trainings and other aligned activities around Australia.
Designed by The Pachamama Alliance with the collaboration of some of the finest scientific, indigenous and activist minds in the world, the Changing the Dream Symposium explores the current state of our planet from a new perspective, and connects participants with a powerful global movement to reclaim our future.
Through the symposium we:
- educate people about the current state of our society and environment
- inspire belief that each person can make a difference
- promote the emerging global worldview of connectedness
- catalyse commitment for sustaining future generations
- develop community spaces for connection, discussion and action
- recognise, honour and strengthen individuals already making a difference
- facilitate new levels of thinking about contemporary issues that are “stuck”
- explore the interconnectedness of issues and experiment with inter-linked solutions
For information about upcoming symposiums in your area see www.changingthedream.org.au
Becoming a member of Be The Change is a symbolic step to “be the change you wish to see in the world” (Gandhi). Together we can “Be The Change”.
